Where can I download music directly from the internet for free?

I use iTunes, but they're no good for underground bands/artists.

I use MySpace for my online downloads but they don't always have what you want. I did use limewire and ares but all they do is crash your computer so I want to stay as far from peer to peer as I can and for me this is the best way to do it.

So my question is, does a site that is SAFE and online exist?

if so, any sources?

One song I'm looking for is "Reach" by Eyes Set to Kill.
