"Undiscovered" rock bands? Help?

I just found them and I really like them. They're coming out with a new cd and I'm going to get it(through them since they are underground). So do you like them? y/n and why?

Also why is it that more and more bands that do not have a label are better than a lot of stuff I hear? I mean they sound better and more original it makes no sense to me

The masses don't want complicated music. They want something easy to get the hang of. All an artist needs to be on a major label is a melody that gets stuck in your head and the ability to recycle that same melody over and over, thus making more money. Commercial "music" is not about the music, there is no feeling. There is an exception in some cases, but like I said. Record Labels want get rich quick schemes, not people who actually care about the music.
