okay so I have been deciding on what i should get either between a ps3 or a labtop but my parents said to chose only one of the 2 options because of course they don't have like a whole lot of money. I want both but I can't decide on one. My ps2 is really messed up and now i can't play my video games. I could always play on my brother's but he like hogs the freaking thing most of the time!!! My dad never lets me play his psp. i really miss playing video games even though i am a girl i am still a fan. i don't know much about the ps3 but i heard it was good. but if i buy a labtop i can download music and videos for my ipod, put my band videos on myspace and chat with friends, play like a million games and so much more. so what should i pick, please help!!!!!!

its vy much depends on wat kind of game u like to play.

eg:if u like war strategy game(like war craft) or sims game(the sims, sims city) or any others game regarding BUILDING, u should go for d laptop for sure.

but if u like d RPG(like ff), den dis is a bit struggle, cuz it REALLY hard to find 1 pc RPG. either u buy a ps3, or jus get use to jus playing pc game, or beg on ur bro.

i dun noe how much u like playing game, but if u r not so strict bout game, perhaps u could but a ps1 or gameboy(but d game for gameboy is more expensive) instead of ps3? ps1 is vy cheap now, even if ur parents wont let u buy both ps1 n laptop, u should b able to buy a ps1 for urself.

note:y it gota b a laptop? do u reali nid to bring it outside? as wat u said for wat u wan ur laptop to do for u, i think buying a computer wif cpu is ok for u. i noe its do not look cool n vy troblesome when u nid to repair it, but d cool thing is u can hav more memory for game n application, n d ram for pc is actuali higher den laptop.

I don't know what "c" meant by no RPGs for PC, but that is totally wrong. It is actually the other way around with the majority of consoles have little to no RPG selection. Report It

I think that you should get a laptop b/c it has way more to offer than a ps3. A laptop has the internet and full of online games and help sites. But a ps3 only has video games.

If you have the option to get a toy with toy capabilities (PS3) or a machine with machine capabilities (PC or Mac), why would you even think about getting the toy?

A computer can do everything a game system can and then a lot more. Plus it does everything faster, is upgradeable, and the games are cheaper.

Do yourself the biggest favor you can, skip the PS3 and get the laptop.

For as much as a PS3 costs you can get a laptop good enough to play World of Warcraft, or most any other PC game that you want. And there are a lot of games that don't cost moey to play. The PS3 would only play the games that you go out and pay more money for. So I would suggest going for the laptop. ^^

well, go for a laptop. u need to change from gaming world. plus, u will know how easy u can play with computer compared to ps2 or ps3. i am a big fan of imac. playing on computer is much easier and much better, i have been playing games since 1993 on computer, but i also own ps2.. but there's nothing like it.

so try for a change.. u will never regret it

Well, if you need a computer that bad, you should buy yourself a laptop since its more important, and you can play games on it if you want. I own a xbox360 which I think is better (and it 200 bucks cheaper) than the PS3. The 360 also has better games, by the end of this year there will be tons of great games for the 360. Gears of War is the best game I've ever played((only for 360)). I also own a PSP, it is the best handheld gaming system YET!! WAY better than the Nintendo DS. But it is all about your opinion.

hard decision hon,but in my opinion go for the laptop everytime you can get good games on there too xx
